Listening and Speaking 教学设计

一、 文本分析

本单元的主题是“人与自然”,话题是自然灾害,由以下几个内容组成。

 

由上面的结构图可以看出,listening and speaking 部分的活动主题是“播报自然灾害”。要求学生通过观看视频并听新闻播报,最终完成模拟播报自然灾害的活动。

二、 教学目标

By the end of the lesson , the students will be able to :

1. know some expressions on the natural disasters by viewing some pictures and the video.

2. use the listening skills of focusing on the main information by circling the key words .

3. summarize the structure and basic information of a news report by analyzing a news report.

4.  present a news report with the help of the structure and language .

三、 设计思路

1. 激发学生的思维,让学生主动说。

2. 深度解读听力文本,概括出新闻报道的基本特点和要素。

教学活动一:Activating and brainstorming information about natural disasters

1. Q: When the earth gets angry, what will happen?

 

2. Watch the video and get to know the names of natural disasters. 

 

 

本活动指向教学目标1

设计意图:通过问候的形式,如果大自然发怒,就会带来自然灾害,很自然的引出本课话题。然后通过观看视频,引出相关的词汇,为后面的听和说再次使用这些词汇做好铺垫。

核心素养提升点:培养围绕语篇主题进行口头表达与交流的能力。

教学活动二: Brainstorming the effects of natural disasters

1.  A news report :A strong typhoon hit Phillippines the day before yesterday . Up till now ,at least 20 people were killed .

2. Q:How do these natural disasters affect our life ?

 

本活动指向教学目标1.

设计意图:利用新闻及时性的特点,口头报道一则最新的早间新闻,承上启下激活并拓展学生有关自然灾害影响的词汇,为后面新闻的导入做铺垫,也为听力扫清词汇障碍。

核心素养提升点:培养围绕语篇主题进行口头表达与交流的能力。

教学活动三: Listening to 4 news report

1. Prepare for the listening .

设计意图:指导听力策略:根据听力问题,提炼出关键信息,如:数学、时间、日期、事由等。这个策略贯穿整个听力始终。

核心素养提升点:引导学生运用听力策略,培养学生主动思考的能力。

教学活动四:Listening for the structure and language of a news report

1. Listen to news report 1 and fill in the blanks.

2. Listen to the news report 2 and fill in the blanks.

设计意图:通过补全句子的形式学生精听前两则新闻,概括提炼出新闻的基本要点、语言特点以及新闻的基本框架,为后续的跟踪报道作了铺垫。 

核心素养提升点:培养分析和概括的能力,体会语言运用的特色。

教学活动五:Presenting a news report

 

本活动指向教学目标4.

设计意图:引导学生运用新闻套语,模仿听力文本,完成自然灾害的新闻播报。

核心素养提升点:提升表达能力。

教学活动六: Taking some disaster safety measures to reduce the damage

本活动指向教学目标4.

设计意图:本活动既是对本节课的总结概括,也是主题的升华:面对灾难的威胁和所造成的损失时,我们可以采取应对的措施,使灾难最小化。并让大家树立防灾意识。

核心素养提升点:提高正确的防范意识。

五、教学反思

1. 以后一定要先磨课

2.这节课学生对做简单的报道还不是很上手,可以把前面听力的8个问题缩成5个或6个,降低难度。另外重点呈现第一个新闻报道,帮助学生形成一个报道的模板(第一句话讲什么,第二句话讲什么等,第三句话讲什么)----what, when, where 都在第一句,这也是最重要的,然后接下来是细节的补充。

3. 对如何做听力笔记策略还不是很透测。

4. 可以领出一段报道,跟读录音模仿。
